Presentation of Train4OrthoMIS on International Symposium "30th Anniversary of Ilizarov Method in Poland, May 11-12 2017, Wroclaw.

The Symposium was organized by the Department of Orthopedics, Wroclaw Medical University. It aimed to bring together leading academic and professionals of orthopaedic to exchange and share their experiences and research results about aspects connected with general and specifically femoral orthopaedic surgery.  

The Fig. 1 presents official website of the Symposium.

The Fig. 2 presents conference brochure and the graphical representation of project rollup with logo and main information about Train4OrthoMIS.

Within the Symposium, there was an opportunity to share information about Train4OrthoMIS to international audience. The participants of the Symposium represented several dozen of hospitals from different countries: Poland, Egypt, Portugal, Italy, Canada, USA, Russia and Ukraine. The number of participants was over 100.

The special guest of the Symposium was polish Minister of Health Konstanty Radziwiłł (Fig. 3).

In the Fig. 4 there is presented the exhibition stand of Train4OrthoMIS project.

The poster of Train4OrthoMis project is also disseminated by official website of the Symposium and was exhibited inside the main conference room (Fig. 5).

Presentation of Train4OrthoMIS on Orthopedic Jubilee Conference on the Occasion of the 15th Anniversary of Sports Clinic, May 19 2017, Katowice

The Conference was organized by the Sports Clinic in Żory, Poland. The Clinic is one of the leading centres specialising in minimally invasive arthroscopic joint surgery in the country employing highly skilled professionals, who gained significant achievements developing medicine and orthopaedics in Poland. It is also a leader among private hospitals specialising in orthopaedics.

The Conference was held in the International Conference Center in Katowice.

The Fig. 1 presents official banners of the Conference.

The Conference was attended by  150 professionals from orthopaedics field including specialists for hip joint endoprosthesis and minimally invasive spine surgery. Within the Conference there was possibility to present Train4OthoMIS project. Additionally all of the participants has individually received information about the project in the form of leaflets included in the conference bag.

In the Fig. 2 there is presented the exhibitions stands of the conference including stand of Train4OrthoMIS project.

Hospital General Universitario de ALICANTE

El director de Innovación de Tecnología Sanitaria del Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia, Carlos Manuel Atienza, participó como ponente en el Congreso de la Sociedad de Cirugía Ortopédica y Traumatología de la Comunidad Valenciana.

Durante el Congreso se programaron 7 mesas de comunicaciones libres distribuidas por áreas de interés y 3 mesas redondas, dedicadas este año a temas candentes en traumatología sobre controversias en el tratamiento de ciertas fracturas. Se incluyó una mesa de nuevos progresos en traumatología donde participaron grandes referentes nacionales. La tercera mesa, dirigida por el Dr. López-Prats fue dirigida a conocer las pautas y enfoques de los hospitales frente a problemas traumatológicos cotidianos con el objetivo de favorecer la reflexión y aumentar el conocimiento.

El proyecto Train4OrthoMIS, finaciado por la Unión Europea dentro del Programa Erasmus+, fue presentado en dicho Congreso ante más de 60 profesionales en Traumatología Ortopédica.
